“Dried Anemone” is a Thai Post Punk band from Thailand. They were formed in 2018 consisting of 4 members :
TJ - Vocalist, Guitarist
Levi - Vocalist, Guitarist
Otto Chain - Bassist
Musix - Drummer
The beginning of "Dried Anemone" originated from some music event in 2018.
During that time, TJ and Levi played with the project called "Problem Dog" also Otto Chain and Musix was still in "Ripper Ray".
With Otto Chain and Musix very impressed by the performances of TJ and Levi, and at that time they were wanting a singer and guitarist to join the band as well so, Otto Chain and Musix persuaded the two friends TJ and Levi to play together then they're becoming "Dried Anemone"
At first the members debated about the "band name", which is a common problem for many bands then "Otto Chain" suggested to use "Anemone" as a band name as he listened to one of the songs from Japanese band called “L’arc En Ciel” and he felt that this name sounded great.
Then all four of them searched for information about this word until it was discovered that it was a type of flower. And discovered that Each color of this family of flowers has different meanings as follows
“Red Anemone” means "I love you."
“White Anemone” means "Honesty"
“Purple Anemone” means "Believe in true love"
All four of them agreed that "The name is too beautiful for this band", so they decided to add the word "Dried" in front so that all the meanings of every color in anemone flower are reversed, also to allow the band name reflects the genre and their identity as well.
Dried Anemone is a band that comes with dark and raw sounds which inspired by 80's Post-Punk music and 90's Alternative music, along with unpredictable live performances. Lyrics are often mentioned The dark side of human and loneliness And those were sung along with furious instrumental that would force the audience to jump until they exhausted.

“Dried Anemone” (ออกเสียงว่า ดราย แอนนีโมนี่)
เป็นวงดนตรีแนว Post Punk / Alternative Rock จาก กรุงเทพมหานคร ก่อตั้งเมื่อปี พ.ศ. 2561
ประกอบไปด้วยสมาชิก 4 คน
ทีเจ - นักร้อง, มือกีตาร์ริทึ่ม
ลีวาย - นักร้อง, มือกีตาร์โซโล่
อ้อตโต้เชน - มือเบส
มิวสิค - มือกลอง
จุดเริ่มต้นของ Dried Anemone เกิดจากการพบเจอที่งานดนตรี ซึ่งในช่วงเวลานั้นเองทีเจกับลีวายเล่นในนามของวง "Problem Dog" ส่วนอ้อตโต้เชนกับมิวสิคเล่นอยู่ในวง "Ripper Ray"
ด้วยความที่เชนกับมิวสิคประทับใจการแสดงของทีเจและลีวายมากบวกกับเวลานั้นอยากได้นักร้องกับมือกีตาร์เข้ามาร่วมในวงอีกเช่นกัน จึงได้ชักชวนสองเกลอนั้นมาแจม จนเกิดเป็นวง "Dried Anemone" ขึ้นมา
ในช่วงแรกๆ สมาชิกแต่คนก็ได้ถกเถียงกันเรื่อง “ชื่อวง” ซึ่งเป็นปัญหาโลกแตกทั่วไปสำหรับนักดนตรีหลายคน โดย “อ้อตโต้เชน” ก็ได้เสนอชื่อ “Anemone” ขึ้นมา จากการที่เขาได้ฟังเพลงหนึ่งของวง L’arc En Ciel แล้วรู้สึกว่าชื่อนี้ฟังดูไพเราะ
จากนั้น พวกเขาทั้งสี่ก็ได้เสิร์ชหาข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับคำนี้จนพบว่ามันเป็นดอกไม้ชนิดหนึ่ง แล้วค้นพบอีกว่า แต่ละสีของดอกไม้ตระกูลนี้จะมีความหมายที่แตกต่างกันออกไป ดังนี้
สีแดง มีความหมายว่า “ฉันรักเธอ”
สีขาว มีความหมายว่า “ความสัตย์จริง”
สีม่วง มีความหมายว่า “เชื่อในรักแท้”
พวกเขาทั้งสี่ก็มีความเห็นตรงกันว่า “ชื่อมันสวยงามเกินไปสำหรับวงนี้” จึงเติมคำว่า “Dried” ที่แปลว่า “แห้ง” ข้างหน้า เพื่อให้แต่ละความหมายทั้งหมดของสีดอกไม้แอนนีโมนี่กลับตาลปัตร และ เพื่อให้ชื่อวงสื่อถึงแนวเพลงกับตัวตนของพวกเขามากขึ้น
Dried Anemone เป็นวงที่มาพร้อมกับซาวด์กร้านๆดิบๆ ซึ่งได้แรงบันดาลใจจากแนวดนตรี Post-Punk ยุค 80’s และดนตรี Alternative ยุค 90’s พร้อมกับโชว์การแสดงสดที่ไม่สามารถคาดเดาได้ โดยเนื้อหามักจะพูดถึง ด้านมืดของมนุษย์กับความโดดเดี่ยว และเนื้อหาเหล่านั้น ก็ถูกขับร้องไปพร้อมดนตรีแรงๆที่คอยรีดพลังคนดูให้กระโดดจนหมดแรงกันไป
